My paintings are part of the continuation of a work begun in 1998 which was based on a search for the subjective representation of the body seen from the inside.
This personal vision of the flesh is exploited in a play way so as to determine the traditional representation of the body and its organs.
My paintings try to take the drama out of the subject by representing it in vivid colours and anecdotal elements.
The hardest thing is definitely to get simplicity, the refinement of outlines and slowness.
My aim is to broaden the representation of my subject so as to give a singular plastic system composed of spots, lines and dots on the surface of the canvas.
By wandering from my primary subject, I go on exploring these motives with as much spontaneity and naturalness as possible, for my aim is to place myself between the ego and the world, between the eye and the vision.
